About the Artist
Stephen Bures

I've been working with clay for
over thirty years. The process of making pottery grows richer and more
interesting as my experience with it expands.
I'm always in awe of the fact
that I'm just one person in a tradition that dates back several millennium.
Early civilizations are dated by the ceramic artifacts found.
Looking to the future and the
endless possibilities for creative work in pottery, I appreciate all that those
potters before me have brought.
I have a BFA in advertising
design from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
My work can be found in many
private and corporate art collections, including; American Cancer Society, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and American Institute of
Architects.
My work can currently be
purchased at;
